Skills for Care have published knowledge sets with key learning outcomes for specific areas of adult social care work. These were created to provide a benchmark of the knowledge required beyond induction as essential learning for specific tasks, to support the achievement of qualifications and for enhanced worker practice. They aim to improve consistency in the underpinning knowledge for in-house learning and training provision.
